What Is Paint Correction?

Paint correction is the process of using a dual-action polisher with different pads and polishes or compounds in order to remove a microscopic layer of clear-coat in order to expose a fresh layer of clear-coat. Unlike our typical exterior detailing services that can be achieved in a couple hours, paint correction requires a substantial amount of more time and energy with a wide variety of polishers, polishes, compounds, pads, towels, and most importantly, skill and patience to achieve the desired results.
Many variables are managed during the paint correction process:
Speed of the machine, angle of the machine, pressure applied, pad type/thickness, type of polish/compound used, working time, surface area covered, number and direction of passes, temperature of panel and machine. This is the most tedious and labor intensive service we provide. Depending on your car and the condition, it can take between 6 hours to 3 days to complete!

Corrects 50-85% of defects

Stage 2 Paint Correction
Removes moderate to heavy defects (scratches, holograms, swirls)
Corrects 70-95% defects.
- Everything Included in the Level 1 Paint Polishing process (as stated above) plus:
- Compound phase to remove & correct heavier imperfections & defects prior to the Polishing phase.
